The Hammond Ballet Company, a nonprofit corporation, is committed to:
Providing performance opportunities and training to assist young dancers to realize their individual potential in the art of classical ballet; Presenting the art of dance to young audiences as a part of student education;
Enhancing our community through the promotion of dance as an art form.
The Hammond Ballet Company has built a reputation for providing excellent educational and performing experiences for young dancers and emerging professionals from the southeast region. Our Company is composed of dancers, ranging from ages 8-24. Dancers are selected annually through auditions from area dance studios and area colleges.
Junior and Senior Company Members have the opportunity to participate in our annual performances as well as our Summer Intensive. Dancers may also participate in the Youth America Grand Prix Workshop and Competition. Over the years our dancers have had the opportunity to study and perform with many guest teachers and choreographers.
